A few questions from prospective Home Helpers Franchise Owners:

How long has Home Helpers been in business?

Home Helpers was founded in 1997 and has grown to become the industry's top Senior Care Franchise. In fact, Entrepreneur magazine has ranked Home Helpers the #1 Senior Care Franchise and "Best of the Best" for 5 straight years.

What does a Home Helpers franchise include?

With a Home Helpers franchise you’ll have the use of the nationally-recognized Home Helpers brand, a large exclusive territory, and the most powerful marketing programs in the industry. You will also receive extensive training, exclusive rights to the business system to help you develop and staff a successful business and ongoing business operations support services.

How do the franchise fees compare to other franchises?

Most franchise opportunities require very large investments, build out, training and equipment. An initial investment in these types of franchises can be from hundreds of thousands of dollars to several million dollars. Because Home Helpers is a low-cast, home based business, you will have a low initial investment that includes the business system, marketing programs, training and operations support!  In fact, in 2012, Entrepreneur Magazine ranked Home Helpers:

  • Top 25 Low-Cost Franchise
  • Top 25 Home Based Franchise

Which exclusive territories are available?

Home Helpers currently has offices across North America and is growing by a new franchise every few days.

Contact us now to see if your territory is still available.

May I purchase more than one franchise?

Yes. If you feel that you have the experience and the desire to succeed with more than one franchise territory, please speak with us. We are always willing to discuss multi-franchise opportunities with prospective owners.

Is experience in the industry necessary?

No. While experience in the industry can be helpful, it is certainly not necessary. To invest in a Home Helpers franchise, you do not need any previous home care or medical experience. Services will be provided by Caregivers you hire who already have the experience, personality and desire to provide care. Everything you will be required to know about operating a respected and successful business will be provided through our extensive training program and ongoing support.

What kind of training can I expect?

Home Helpers offers you complete and extensive training. During your initial training at Home Helpers Corporate Office, you will learn every phase of the business. Our hands-on training provides you with:

  • An understanding of your target market and a strategic plan to help you hit the ground running and grow your organization into a trusted name in your community, with potential clients, referral sources and professional organizations, just to name a few.
  • Proprietary systems and computer software to help organize and grow your business and give you a solid foundation right from Day One.
  • The knowledge and tools needed to hire and train quality Caregivers who will be responsible for actually performing the care services.
  • Methods to create strategic alliances with referral sources.
  • A proven system which includes top-notch marketing and public relations planning, accounting systems, computer software, operational processes, contracts, human resource and financial management programs and so much more.

What type of ongoing support can I expect?

It's quite extensive. After the initial training program, you will receive continuous, ongoing support from our experienced and responsive Franchise Services Team. In addition to our regional meetings, annual national conference, marketing bootcamp and in-field support, you’ll receive:

  • Highly Effective Advertising and Public Relations
  • Invaluable Franchisee Intranet Access
  • Access to Human Resource and Benefits Programs
  • 6 months of free business coaching through The Growth Coach®, a nationally acclaimed business and sales coaching company
